DESCRIPTION:Run the Liberties – August 12th 2026 \nSt James’s Hospital Foundation will celebrate the 18th annual Liberties Fun Run in aid of St James’s Hospital. This unique 4-mile timed road race takes participants through the heart of old Dublin and attracts in excess of 1500 participants every year. \nStarting & finishing in the beautiful grounds of the Irish Royal Hospital Kilmainham\, the route takes in some of the most famous sites throughout the Liberties including St James’s Gate\, Francis Street\, The Coombe and Fatima. DESCRIPTION:Each year\, over 100\,000 people take part in the Dublin Pride Parade: it is the biggest celebration of diversity and inclusion on the island of Ireland. If you are taking part in the parade as an individual or with a group of friends\, there is no need to register. This is a free event and there are a number of ways that you can take part. You can simply rock up anywhere along the route and watch or join in the march once the groups have moved onto the quays. You can also apply to join in with many of the community groups in the parade. Each year\, community groups put out calls for volunteers to help carry banners and flags\, or simply make their group in the parade bigger.
